Do You Know Your Coffee Soulmate? Take This 30-Second Quiz to Discover It.

Coffee is the most ordinary commodity that can be enjoyed as a luxury.
Coffee drinking is an experience, and many aficionados take it to another level, with or without the gear. Whether you are a passive drinker or an active one, you have, at one time, experienced that "perfect" cup.

More often than not, that cup is a single-origin coffee. At Haiti Coffee, we are elevating that experience through our unique blends, connecting Haiti to coffee-growing regions around the world.

To make it easy for you, we’ve created a taste profile for each blend that matches it to a specific time of day, a brewing method, and a personality type.

If you’re still not sure which one to brew first, take our 30-second quiz to reveal your coffee soulmate.

Sanctuary

Roast Level: Medium

For the thinkers, the music lovers, and the early risers.

This is your palate-waker. It’s for those quiet moments before the sun is up, when it’s just you, some good music in the background, and a chance to get your head right before the day starts. It’s got a soft taste and a creamy texture that feels like a deep breath.

The Backstory: Sanctuary is a tribute to the way Brazil has consistently welcomed Haitian people looking for a better life. It’s a beautiful combination of award-winning Brazilian and Haitian farming communities, with every single bean hand-processed.

The Drink: It makes an incredible French press or classic drip. You’ll notice those malted-chocolate notes right at the finish.

Tèt āndi Laye

Roast Level: Light

For the adventurers, the world travelers, and the sweet lovers.

Imagine a fruity chocolate bar in liquid form. This blend is all about energy and connection, perfect for a solo breakfast before work or a big family get-together. It’s got that pronounced fruity and nutty taste that just makes you want to go somewhere new.

The Backstory: The name says it all: TÈT (meaning ‘head’ in Haitian Creole) and āndi laye (‘together’ in Amharic). It’s a blend of Cafe Dondon and Ethiopia Adado. It’s the embodiment of the idea that "together we can go far."

The Drink: This is the one for a perfect espresso. And if you’re having pastries, this is the mandatory pairing.

Respè

Roast Level: Medium

For the coffee addicts, the sunset seekers, and the long-walk crowd.

This is your afternoon chill and reset. It’s grown at high altitudes and has a low acidity, but with a sweet, lemony finish that’s really pronounced. It’s for the people who truly enjoy the ritual of sipping coffee and taking a moment to breathe as the day winds down.

The Backstory: Respè celebrates a deep connection between Mexico and Haiti that goes all the way back to 1816. It honors Mexican General Martin Javier Mina y Larrea, who traveled to Haiti to find support for Mexico’s independence from Spain. It’s a cup full of history and mutual respect.

The Drink: Excellent as an espresso, but it makes a legendary iced coffee for those afternoon walks.
